The EMS training for June was an MCI drill under the direction of Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center's prehospital physician fellows. The drill simulated a CO incident at a local business with several patients with varying conditions and injuries'.

Three Fire trainings were held this month. The first was a station training on water supply. This prepped us for the upcoming large scale regional water supply drill that was then hosted later that week. Crews from over 10 area departments came to Gordonville for this large scale drill. The final training for the month was a training focusing on our apparatus operators being familiar and confident in the skills associated with operating our apparatus.

Outside of running calls June was a very busy month for our crews for public relations and fundraising. We hosted a community CPR class at our Gordonville station, did a pre-arranged standby for White Horse Ambulance for their members to be able to take the the evening off for a membership appreciation summer picnic, Two show and tells were handled at the station for groups who stopped in for tours, we held our annual summer sale at our Kinzer station, and we assisted on both days at Intercourse Heritage Days event. The EMS division was on standby both Friday and Saturday while the Fire division was at the event Saturday afternoon assisting with a candy drop, bucket rides, and a show and tell.
