Do you enjoy the medical field? Have you been thinking about serving your community as an EMT? Are you interested in taking a local level course in the heart of rural Lancaster County? Look no further! The Pequea Valley Fire Department 2024 EMT Class registration is open! Applications are being accepted now until Monday November 20th 2023 at 4pm. Applicants who successfully pass the pre-screening process will be notified of an interview date/time, which will be late November. Applicants will then be notified of selection post interview by mid-December. The 2024 PVFD EMT class will begin January 11th 2024 and meets two nights a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm-10pm plus one Saturday a month typically 9am-5pm. The class runs though the end of May. Cost for the class is $800 with reimbursement opportunities available.
