For the month of March our companywide fire training was on prearrival assignments and water supply with several mutual aid tankers.
Several firefighters and EMS members also got the opportunity to tour the Lancaster County 911 Center. This gave our crews a behind the scenes look on what its like to be a dispatcher and how a 911 call routes from being received, dispatched, worked with the police, fire, and EMS crews on scene and then cleared out.
March was a busy month for fundraising/community relations as well. We hosted on our of many breakfast buffets at our Kinzer station, our annual Spring Mud Sale at our Gordonville station, and a prearranged standby for Gap Fire Company while their members took the day to focus on their mud sale. |
