For the month of April the Fire Division handled 17 calls for service. Station 403 responded to 10 calls and Station 405 responded to 12 calls.

April's companywide EMS training was a presentation on Excited Delirium and Taser related concerns for EMS with our Medical Director Mike Reihart. This month our advanced level providers completed their annual skill assessment. Individually, several members continued progressing through crew chief training, driver training, completed annual continuing education for certification and participated in impromptu skill labs during duty shifts throughout the month.
For the month of April our companywide fire training was on vehicle fires. This month we had several members participate in their entry level firefighter training and a Truck 1 class.
Our EMT in house EMT class is quickly coming to an end. April finished up the lecture component for the students and the final 3 weeks in May will focus all on skills prep for their final exam. |
